¹⁷ Lord, ^(A)how long will You look on?
Bring back my soul ^(B)from their ravages,
My ^(C)only life from the lions.
¹⁸ I will ^(D)give You thanks in the great assembly;
I will ^(E)praise You among a mighty people.
^19 (F)Let those who are wrongfully ^(G)my enemies not be glad over me;
Nor let those ^(H)who hate me without cause ^[a](I)wink maliciously.
